Karen Taylor is the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist for Rough Draft. She has fronted other
area bands including The Livewire Band, Nervous Nelly and And Sometimes Y. She has
played at many special events, festivals,weddings and club shows through the years. She
was nominated for Buffalo's best female vocalist by the Buffalo Music Awards. Her vocal
talents allow the band to be much more versatile in song selection switching from male lead
vocals to female. This keeps the crowd from getting bored over the same vocalist all night!
Cassandra Postek.....is the drummer and vocalist for Rough Draft. She has played in many
successful bands for the past 30 years, has put out her own CD of original
music under the name Jeez Luweez and enjoys picking up the
guitar every once and a while.
John Crossley plays keyboards and sings backup for Rough Draft. He is a self-taught
musician who's natural talent is a great asset for the band. John has played with several
bands in the area and resides in Ransomville with his wife and children.
George Montes plays lead guitar and sings lead vocals for Rough Draft. He began playing
guitar at 9 years old. He has played in several bands in the NYC and New Jersey area
including Special Delivery. In the Buffalo area, he has played for Ground Level Zero,
Paragon, Soul Surreal, The Statics and Abraxas. He has opened for national bands including
Gary Bonds and Leon Russell.
Tom Tripi holds down the low end for Rough Draft. He has played bass in numerous bands
including Swillberries, RainMaker, and Ian Quail. While in his previous bands he has opened
for Tower of Power, Eddie Money, James Cotton, Luther Allison, Aerosmith, Kansas, and
